The registration area for the AAMC Annual Meeting featured Internet kiosks, a lounge, and information about AAMC publications and services. More than 4,200 medical education professionals and guests registered for the 2008 event. The Minority Student Medical Career Awareness Workshop and Recruitment Fair is historically among the most popular and lively events at the AAMC annual meeting, allowing tomorrow's doctors to learn more about what goes into becoming a physician. Career fair attendees have their own exhibit area where they can talk to recruiters and get hands-on experience with interactive medical displays.
