VSLO® Annual Summary Dashboard

Now Available: The VSLO® Annual Summary Dashboard provides Home and Host institutions, and the medical education community, with data and data analytic tools that directly support away rotation decision-making processes. You will learn about student application and hosted opportunities data at the state, regional, and national levels for all specialty away rotations available through the VSLO application service.

VSLO® Institution Resources

Visit the VSLO® Institution Resources webpage to find important program materials. The VSLO Program Marketing Toolkit provides all VSLO branding and identification resources in one place. You will also find the current VSLO Handbook for Institutions. This ready reference document guides institutional users in program management and provides resources for advising medical students using the VSLO software to search for and apply to learning opportunities.

Academic, Professional, and Financial Resources for Visiting Scholars

The VSLO program is eager to help institutions highlight academic, professional, and financial resources for students in an easily accessible, centralized location on our student website. Each submitted opportunity must include additional or unique supports (whether academic, professional, or financial) offered during a student's rotation experience at an institution. Examples may include, but aren't limited to, a scholarship component, housing support, or mentorship for students. Resources listed here are distinct from VSLO catalog listings. Please fill out this form to submit specific opportunities.

To ensure we are providing students with the most up-to-date information, please note that all postings will expire on August 31, 2024. Submitted opportunities will be made available on the VSLO program’s VSLO® for Students webpage of the AAMC’s students and residents website. We also strongly encourage institutions to list these opportunities in the VSLO application service.

AAMC/AACOM Agreement

Options for the osteopathic medical education community!

A majority of DO-granting institutions and their medical students participate in the VSLO program. The AAMC and AACOM maintain a contractual agreement that provides access to the VSLO service as well as other AAMC programs. Participating DO schools can choose, along with their Home institutional role, to become Host institutions. Additionally, Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (COMs) can elect to participate in the VSLO Global Network.
